Talent down to 90 seconds.....

Rapper Eminem has a song that starts out,
"Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment,
Would you capture it or just let it slip?"

For Miss America this year, contestants have been asked to widdle their talent opportunity down to 90 seconds. Considering most full length songs run about 3-4 minutes, it means that some major cuts will have to occur in contestants performance arrangements. Its apparent that Miss America's goal is to feature more talent performances within the time constraints of a 2 hour television show, yet the question becomes, Is a minute and a half really long enough to showcase your talent??
